Refer and earn from introducing clients to us.

We welcome introductions from independent financial advisers, mortgage brokers, accountants and solicitors who are not authorised for equity release themselves but would like to refer their clients to a specialist adviser to ensure they receive the best possible advice.

We pay a generous 50% of all procuration fees received from the lender on all cases which complete, yet still offer your clients an initial home consultation, free of charge, to assess whether equity release is right for them.

Why refer?

Whether you are a solicitor or accountant, IFA or mortgage broker, you will know your profession is becomming increasingly bureaucratic and accountable. As such the demand on your time is ever increasing and yet you still still want to help your clients and earn money.

You will also have noticed how the world is fast becomming more litigious and the need to be a specialist, practicing only in those areas that you are fully competent, to try and minimise the risk of complaints. Do you have the necessary qualifications, experience or time to specialise in this area?

Since October 2004 you have had to hold an appropriate specialist lifetime mortgage qualification to advise on lifetime mortgage equity release plans and this requirement was been extended to advice on home reversion plans on 6th April 2007. If you do not hold these qualifications or other accepted qualifications you will not be authorised to give equity release advice.

However, simply by referring clients to us, not only will you still be able to help them but more importantly you will:

• Avoid having to take further qualifications.
• Maintain ongoing competency.
• Avoid the need for establishing a separate factfinding system.
• Avoid regulatory responsibility for the advice and any increases in PI cost.
• Know your clients are receiving professional up to date advice to meet their needs.
• Be able to concentrate on what you know best whilst still earning a very respectable 50% of any procuration fee (if you are allowed to accept them).
